Great product!

I love this product! I am a fake tanner, so obviously I use lot of exfoliants etc but always find they are too creamy and don't really exfoliant so tan clogs round my jaw, back of ears and sometimes clogs any open pores. I tried this, as my uncle uses it religiously so I thought I'd have to find out what he was bragging about. Its great, a little goes a long way, and you can feel it exfoilanting. The reason I have gave it a 4 is because, it is a lot of money, when you use it in junction with the cleanser, toner and any other products. I use it morning and night sometimes, but I have found something similar what works just as well. Its rice powder exfoliant by L'Occitane. Which is the same ingredients and principle as Dermalogicas Microfoliant but half the price.

I cannot live without this in my daily cleansing routine! Use it after cleansing, and if you have any blemishes, mix it with the skin renewal booster instead of water.

A Brilliant Daily Exfoliant

I can't recommend this product highly enough. It is fantastic for sensitive skin, and leaves your face feeling soft and fresh, and pores thoroughly cleansed. I am prone to break-outs and it is very effective at reducing spots and clearing skin. An amazing product, and a little goes a long way.

This product is the best exfoliator I've used, the fact that the product is actually a powder (that you add water to, creating a paste)is both good & bad.. The good thing is you really feel like the product is exfolating your skin properly and removing dead skin and dirt. However, it takes a few attempts to work out how to get it lathered up effectively (I wet my face rather than my hands & make the paste on my face lol I think this prevents excess use of the product). Also if water got into the bottle, the product would effectively be ruined. But other than that, I find the product very good & it is definately part of my dermalogica routine!

SAMPLE LOVE!!

I ordered something from this website and recieved two samples of this product and i have just used one of them whilst in the shower, its a powder form but when it touches your wet hands and you mix it together and apply it its gritty and then smooth, i love this and my face feels so clean and clear, i will be buying this if it suits my skin, its expensive but i think it might just be worth it! love this!!!

subtle but highly effective

For me this is an essential daily product. You might not notice a difference after one use but gradually you'll see your skin become bright and glowing. It helps keeps my breakouts at bay and smooths the milia round my eyes. It is incredibly gentle on my sensitive skin. I could even use it during pregnancy when my skin became hyper-sensitive. It also smells comforting! Lovely!

Desert Island product!

If I was to only have one dermalogica product, this would be it! It is gentle on my sensitive skin which has slight rosacea, and for me, more gentle yet as effective, as weekly exfoliants. It is non-drying and leaves my skin much smoother and brighter with more refined pores. It seems also to make my other dermalogica absorb better so they can work more effectively. For me, it even makes my fine lines and wrinkles look better- a bonus, always! and is a real pick me up for my skin. Truly the one product I would not want to be without. Great for giving the skin a gentle but very effective exfoliation - much better than using a harsh 'scrubby' scrub. My blackheads are significantly less noticeable after use and my skin always looked polished after using. A bottle lasts for absolutely ages, I've had my current one for over two years, using once or twice a week.

This product is just amazing!!! your skin becomes smooth and beautiful, and it really helps your skin become perfect. My skin is both oily and dry AND sensitive, and I used to had a lot of redness on my skin. That was gone after 3 days with using the daily microfoliant. GET SOME!!

A Hard to Please Reviewer

An excellent product for those who don't have sensitive skin

I was very sceptical when I bought this product but can honestly say that it lives up to its claims. You don't need very much of it, and although it doesn't smell great (a mixture of fruits) it certainly does what it says. If your skin is marked as a result of Acne as mine was, it will remove the marks over time and brighten it up. However, looking at the ingredient list, I can imagine that it would be very harsh on sensitive skin so be careful with it, it's potent stuff.

This is indeed a gentle product...if anything, too gentle. As the product is a powder, I've found that once it's mixed into a paste, it disintegrates and it's exfoliation potential is therefore limited. Not particularly cost effective either.

This product seems to brighten and smooth the skin instantly. It's very gentle aswell so doesn't aggrevate sensitive skins. It doesn't exfoliate quite as deeply as the skin prep scrub, but it lasts much longer as a little goes a long way.

I had given up on exfoliants, as even the gentlest quality products were too harsh. But, THIS really makes my skin come to life, in the most gentle way. Makes my skin glow! But be certain to adjust the amount of massage to your skins needs - the one minute advice on the package is too much. Merely lightly stroking it on is sufficient for my skin. Strongly recommended!

Great for all skin types

Dry, sensitive, occasionally oily but always spot prone skin. I guess I wasn't lucky with my genes! Due to the varying nature of my skin it's difficult to find a product which will clear pores, moisturise and not irritate my skin all at once. This is where Dermalogica comes in.This is a beautifully gentle exfoliator, with extremely fine grains working to brighten and smooth out the skin. Its expensive but you get tons of the stuff and since you only need to use a tiny amount I reckon it should easily last a year or so. It's so rare that a face product truly agrees with my skin, especially an exfoliator, that I can't help but recommend this to anyone unhappy with their current skin regime

I first bought this 2 years ago and noticed immediate results. It seemed to remove a layer of dullness from my skin, despite having regularly exfoliated for years. It may be a touch expensive but the tub lasts for ages. I used mine daily for a year!

I love this product.I have quite dry skin on my cheeks, chin and forehead, but quite oily around the sides of my nose and just below my lower lip.I often had dry flakey patchs on my cheeks and forehead and therefore avoided make-up as I found it only made them more obvious (boo hoo!)Any way, I have been using this day and night (along with Essential Cleansing Solution and Soothing Cream) and my skin looks and feels amazing!!Dampen face, dampen hands, pour a little of the powder on to hands, rub together and apply to face - easy!! Effective :)

I have very difficult skin, similar to previous reviewer, sensitive and oily, this in conjunction with medicated clearing gel has shifted some really stubborn acne type spots on my chin but without irritating. I really recommend it.

What a change!

I owe so much to this one

I have, since a very early age, suffered from quite bad acne, and I have tried a gazillion different products (including other Dermalogica products), with little effect, but Daily Microfoliant has been super effective. I use it twice a day and my skin feels and stays clean. I recommend!

Truly worth an award!

I was sceptic about it because I have very oily skin, congested + large pores. I can use any scrub even the roughest one, which usually is recommended for the type of skin like mine. I couldn't understand how fine powder can make my skin clearer (when even rough scrub doesn't make it clearer for too long) and why everyone is so obsessed with this microfoliant?! Now I know why! It's really clears the skin surface (I wouldn't lie and say it clears it inside the pores - it doesn't go that deep) and it makes the pores smaller, it "polishes" the surface of the skin to a a very smooth and pleasant feeling + it brightens the skin - face skin looks so fresh and young afterwards!I use microfoliant when my skin appears dull and uneven. It's great to "refresh" your skin and your mood! And the bottle lats forever.

I noticed the difference from the first use. Not harsh like grainy exfoliants are.Very good for dry, flaky skin, my husband uses this too, and thinks its brilliant.I don't use it daily as I have acne and find that it can aggravate spots adn increase the redness, so I use it on days when I feel my skin becoming flaky.
